This is a feature I'm hoping to keep up with on here. You may or may not know my dear friend, in-law, little, etc. Katherine O'Neil a.k.a. Katie O! If you do than you may know she's a pretty funny girl and together we have some pretty great banter. The reason these to features are combined here is that frequently when I learn new things... I text Katie and tell her, and an amusing conversation ensues. So here's your first one! Enjoy!

Thing I learned: Wolverines are an actual animal... not just an X-Men character

Conversation:

Me: Were you aware wolverines are an actual animal?

Katie: No I was not aware. Hugh Jackman is the only wolverine I've ever heard of

Me: Thank you! Me too!
Katie: At what point did you realize that they were in fact not mythical? And what exactly are they?

Me: I can't answer the 2nd question. I'm reading a bk for class - nonfiction - written by a journalist on regulation.. And she was talking abt natural parks and mentioned wolverines in a short list of Alaskan wildlife. Wtf, who knew.
Katie: Hugh was probably just shooting a movie up there and the journalist saw him and just got confused.
